Gordon files suit vs pollsters.

Is Gordon crying over the way the surveys are impacting his campaign?

Gordon has filed a lawsuit against pollsters such as Pulse Asia and Social Weather Stations that he says have jeopardized his capmaign for the presidency. Other candidates agree with his suit but cannot join since Gordon is the only one ready with a suit.

Gordon specifically mentioned “wrongful acts” through “the use of outdated and fraudulent survey methods,” as well as for the inclusion of Gordon’s name in the surveys without his permission and is seeking a TRO against the release of survey results. Gordon avers that

“Surveys rob the people of their capacity to think and vote wisely. People don’t benefit from these surveys,”
“It’s time to stop this foolishness,” he added.
The most telling reason is that
“They (survey firms) are not even accountable to anybody if they do wrong,” Gordon said.

Gordon trails distantly along with JC, Madrigal and Villanueva in the surveys which are dominated by Noynoy Aquino and Manny Villar. Teodoro also shares the same sentiments as Gordon and has said the result of surveys belong to the trash can.

As long as surveys are not deemed illegal, Gordon can do nothing. The results shows who are the most popular candidates. People can choose to believe or not the survey results. They are not forced to!!
