CDRKing ET-688 voice recorder

I overreacted because there was no charger with the device:
You are warned NOT to fall for this device!
The size has both advantages and disadvantages: Easy to carry on you pocket but is damn easy to lose or misplace!




It advertises itself loudly with the following specs on its package box.

  • Built-in Large-capacity storage, to use as mobile Hard disk (512M/1G/2G).
  • 3 audio file direction (A, B, C) to record massive audio information.
  • Play music in various formats (such as MP3, WAV).
  • Voice-control function (VOX) 2 recording formats (SP and LP);
  • Cycle mode: Nor (not cycle) One (single cycle) all (all cycle).
  • 5 play balance modes: Natural, DBB, Jazz, Disco and Classic
  • Repeat mode (A-B): Replay a certain section of sound file.
  • Following read & compare: at MP# play mode.
  • Check remainning record time.
  • Delete: Delete single MP# music file and audion file, or all filse in current time.
  • Telephone recording
  • 32-level volume adjustment
  • High-speed USB 2.0 connection, to facilitate rapid uploading/downloading.
  • Built-in loudspeaker.
  • Low power alerting
  • FM radio
  • Built in rechargeable battery
The most important things are left off as optional devices, but I don't know if they are available. I need to come back Thursday. This for a price of 1780 pesos.

Mar 30. The device can be recharged using the supplied usb cable. Sorry for the noise. I now change the NOT to buy recommendation to BUY.However if the battery does run down and cannot be recharged anymore, you are out of luck.

There is a cheaper model for around 1,600 pesos with separate AAA batteries. Buy this one if you are a pessimist.
