Our main laptap gave up the ghost yesterday so we may be delayed even by days in filling this latest weekly report. But it is also an opportunity to try to be more efficient as I am typing this on my smaller Acer One.

The weeks rankings are now closed.
12:10 PM. We are surprised our program for creating the html table could read the July 24 rankings but not the full July 25 rankings! It only managed to read the top 100 blogs. We will try to debug this matter and we hope those blogs from ranks 101- to 150 at least will get their day in our rankings. More exposure will lead to more visitors to the blogs listed, and so we hope!
We hope to fix this today. So we will revise this final rankings. But the GPR and Alexa rankings might differ a little since these are taken the time the blog rankings are finally printed.
More surprising is that Coolbuster, our erstwhile #1 coolest blog in Education category has disappeared! An on the final day for the week ending July 25. We hope it is temporary hitch.
This is not the first time that Coolbuster did a Houdini, but it comes back roaring in a few hours. Maybe its webmaster is thinking of a new redesign. We hope it will not go the way of Mathalino.com. Indeed a visit showed a new panel menu in the right side bar. I wonder if Wordpress has that kind of widget.
So folks, be sure that your blogging site is up at 12:00 PM. The reason we pick high noon is a practical matter, we just cannot catch the last of the updated rankings from topblogs which usually stops from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
Anyway, the gain in ranks sound hollow. But it's still nice...
Rather than erasing the current rankings report, we have decided to present the corrected 1:00PM topblogs rankings after this table.

There is something wrong with our program to extract the days rankings from topblogs site. We will debug this and hopefully the report will be published online today before midnight. The rankings will still be valid at 12:00 Noon, but the Alexa and Google page ranks may not be reflective of the noontime rankings. (They are supposed to change a little, except for fast growing blogs.)
The attempt to read four pages may be the culprit. We will try to accommodate 200 listed blogs.

The report will be filled in in about 20 minutes after noontime when we don't have classes.
We were delayed in getting the results due to factors beyond our control and we have to attend a university council meeting at Malcoml Hall today. We only got home around 3PM and since the main laptop was down, we have to run our ranks reporting program in our tiny netbook. The topblanks rankings are always taken at 12:00 Noon automatically, but the Google Page Ranks and Alexa ranks were taken the time the report was made at around 5:20 PM.
OOPS, we have to debug our reporting codes and we will update this in a moment.
